The Problem —
After acquiring Superior Switchel, Sociable saw potential in bringing this unfamiliar drink to a broader audience. The task was twofold: educate customers on the unique health benefits of switchel and reposition the brand with a modern look. Moving from glass bottles to cans, they needed updated packaging and branding that would stand out and capture attention in a competitive market.
What I Did —
Collaborating closely with Sociable’s owners, I led the rebrand effort, shaping everything from mission and values to logo design, packaging, and social presence. We stayed true to key original design elements to maintain the loyalty of their cult following while introducing fresh visuals for broader appeal.
Brand Refresh —
After the core mission, vision, and values of Superior, we began with an updated tagline, logo, color palette, and refreshed design assets to establish a strong brand foundation. From there, the packaging evolved, featuring a striking matte and reflective finish that commanded attention on the shelves.
Digital & Print Presence —
To strengthen Superior's brand refresh, we crafted a cohesive visual strategy for print and social media, blending bold graphics and curated imagery to emphasize the brand's distinct, yet approachable style, ensuring it resonated with both new and existing customers.
